We visited Coronado Island to visit the Navy Ships Tour but during this time, it is San Diego's Fleet Week. During this spectacular week the Navy showcased some of their vintage planes.
Wile visiting the Naval Air Station North Island, we stayed on the Island of Coronado, staying at the most famous hotel - Hotel Del Coronado. This hotel has been visited by presidents, celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, and dictators. It was a gorgeous day!
We ate at a local french bistro near the Hotel Del Coronado.
We tasted wines and chocolates at a great wine bar located in the Hotel Del Coronado.
While in the San Diego, we visited our favorite place, the U.S.S. Midway.
While visiting the U.S.S. Midway, we saw a docked cruise ship named the Ryndam. A ship which Tom took in July with his parents and family on a cruise to see Alaska.
